Family-Friendly Things to Do in Roseville

Not every family outing needs a packed schedule. Sometimes the best afternoons are the ones where kids have room to play, parents can slow down for a bit, and everyone finds something they enjoy. At Fountains at Roseville, you'll find several family-friendly activities that make it easy to spend time together.

A Place to Play

The playground is often one of the first stops for families visiting the center. Kids have a place to climb, slide, and explore. Whether you're stopping by before lunch or letting the kids play after shopping, it's a fun way to break up the day and one of the many free activities families can enjoy together.

Cool Off at the Splash Pad

When the weather warms up, the splash pad quickly becomes one of the busiest places at Fountains at Roseville. Kids can run through the water, cool off, and enjoy being outside while parents watch from nearby seating. Best of all, it's free to enjoy!

Hop Aboard the Fountains Express

Sometimes it's the little things kids remember most. A ride on the Fountains Express has become a tradition for many families, giving children a chance to see the center from a different perspective. It adds a little extra excitement to the day and turns an ordinary visit into something they'll look forward to again.

Join Us for Tot Time

Families with younger children will also enjoy Tot Time, held on the first and third Tuesday of each month (May through October). These free mornings are brought to you in partnership with the Roseville Public Library, and feature interactive entertainment designed for toddlers and preschoolers, with music, movement, and storytelling. It's also a great opportunity for parents and caregivers to connect with other families.

Stay for a Family Meal

After a morning of playing, there's no need to head home right away. Grab a casual lunch at Jack's Urban EatsBurger Lounge or Boudin SF. Cool off afterward with a scoop from Salt & Straw or Miabella Gelato. Having family-friendly dining a short walk from the playground and splash pad makes it easy to turn a quick visit into a full afternoon together.

A Place Families Can Come Back To

The best family destinations offer something a little different every time you visit. Between the playground, splash pad, train rides, Tot Time, and seasonal events, there's always another reason to plan your next trip to Fountains at Roseville.
