Three ways to pawticipate
From capes to crowns, watch local pups and their owners strut their stuff in this year’s Howl-O-Ween Costume Show (the top 3 will fetch prizes)! Then join the fun as all contestants pawrade through the center.
1. Register to Walk the Red Carpet in Costume
ALL SPACES ARE FULL, BUT COME WATCH, BRING YOUR UNOPENED PET FOOD DONATION & JOIN THE PAWRADE!
Think you and your pup have what it takes to wow the crowd? Registration is free and three pups will bring home prizes!

3. Dress Up & Join the Pawrade Around the Center
After the Howl-O-Ween Costume Show, the fun continues with a festive Pawrade around the center! All participating pups and spectators in costume are invited to strut their stuff down Main Street. It’s a lighthearted stroll that lets everyone show off their creativity, celebrate the season, and soak up the cheers along the way.

Rules for
Pet Owners

Leash Requirement: All dogs must remain on a secure, non-retractable leash (6 ft or shorter) at all times.

Well-Behaved Pets Only: Dogs must be comfortable around other pets, children, and crowds. Aggressive, reactive, or disruptive animals will be asked to leave the event.

Vaccinations: All dogs must be current on vaccinations.

Supervision: Dogs must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times. One handler per dog.

Clean-Up: Owners must pick up after their pets. Waste bags are required.

Costumes: Costumes should be safe, non-restrictive, and not cause discomfort or overheating for the dog.

Health: Please do not bring dogs who are sick, injured, or in heat.

Respect for Others: Maintain a safe distance from other pets unless both owners consent to interaction.
Notice of Liability
By attending the Howl-O-Ween Costume Show & Pawrade, participants and spectators agree to assume full responsibility for themselves, their children, and their pets. Fountains at Roseville, Pet Food Express, Placer SPCA, and event organizers are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage that may occur during the event. Attendance is voluntary, and participation indicates acceptance of these terms.
2. Show Your Support! Come Out to Enjoy the Show & Help Local Pets in Need
Together, we can keep pets home where they belong. Placer SPCA is bringing out their van and we need your help to fill it! Bring your unopened pet food donation and help us fill Placer SPCA's Pet Food Pantry to help local pets in need. Every bag, every can makes a difference.
